Approximately once each week, WFP releases information regarding countries that are experiencing extreme need. They call these areas "hotspots" and categorize them as areas with high profile emergencies.
Each report contains a summary of hot spots as well as the current conditions there, WFP efforts, and WFP plans for the area as well as a map that assesses the needs of all countries and designates need by color.
