Free Rice is a wonderful word game that builds and tests your vocabulary while at the same time providing hungry people with rice. Through sponsorships, your participation in the game has a tangible benefit. For each word that you pair with the correct definition, sponsors will donate 20 grains of rice to the WFP. There are about 48 grains of rice in a gram and the WFP strives to provide people with approximately 400 grams of rice per person per day. The Free Rice site reports that "In it's first 5 months, Free Rice generated enough rice to feed more than 1 million people."

My name is Dorian and I'm reaching out to popular blogs. I'm working with a small startup called Avanoo that wants to give bloggers the opportunity to raise awareness and funding for causes that they care about by putting a badge on their blogs that looks like the one below.
We haven't launched yet, but we're reaching out to a few top bloggers, now, to help us test our technology and spread the word. If you can help us to show others how, together, bloggers and web users can raise funds and awareness for good causes by using the power of our voices, I'd be so grateful.
Thanks for your time,
Dorian
